Faucets fail over time. And when they do, it generally starts with a drip.  You may have a single handle faucet you have to jiggle the handle just right or position perfectly to stop the flow. Maybe you have to turn the handle super tight to get it to stop dripping.  All of this solutions will gradually start to fail and a constant drip will be inevitable.

Handyman Tip: Do you find that your faucet has poor water flow? This may be an easy fix. Sometimes the aerator becomes clogged and limits the amount of water flowing through. Simply unscrew the aerator at the end of the faucet spout and wash out the debris.
